What you are actually buying at RH
The stone is real and the forms are genuinely good. Nobody ends up on this page by accident, the Rocco is a handsome table. But the price of any RH piece also carries the showrooms, the catalogs, the design services, and the brand itself. That overhead is baked into every tag.
There is nothing wrong with paying for that if you use it. If you just want the table, it is worth knowing what the same slab of stone costs without the retail layer on top.
The numbers, side by side
The Rocco Rectangle Coffee Table runs about $3,510 to $4,000 at the 52 inch size depending on stone. Our Floating Plinth Coffee Table, the same lifted monolithic form, starts at $2,900 and is cut to whatever length, depth, and height your room needs. Our standard Plinth Coffee Table starts at $2,300.
The Rocco Square Side Table is $3,080 to $3,575 for a fixed 22 inch cube. Our Plinth Side Table starts at $775 and our Floating Plinth Side Table at $837, sized to the inch.

The two things the price does not fix
First, sizes. RH stone pieces come in a handful of fixed lengths. If your sofa wants a 58 inch table, you are choosing between too short and too long. Every piece we make is cut to your exact dimensions, which matters more with stone than with any other furniture because nobody moves a 300 pound table to a different room when it does not quite work.
Second, stones. RH offers four stones on most of these pieces. Our library covers marbles, travertines, quartzites, and onyx from quarries around the world, and every one of them is available on every form.
Where the look actually comes from
The look you are drawn to is the stone itself. Travertine from the same region reads the same whether it was fabricated for a national retailer or a small studio. We buy from the same quarries the designer brands do. The difference in the finished piece comes down to fabrication quality and slab selection, which is why we send you a photo of your exact slab for approval before we cut anything. No RH showroom will do that.
When RH makes sense
To be fair about it: if you want to sit next to the piece in a showroom this weekend, take delivery from stock in a few weeks, and furnish a whole room from one catalog, RH is built for exactly that. Made to order stone takes longer. Our fabrication runs 6 to 8 weeks before delivery, and you are trusting renders and slab photos rather than a showroom floor.
